Instructions
Pasta Salad
  1. Boil bow-tie pasta for 10 minutes or about 1 minute shy of the package directions. Drain and rinse cooked pasta with cold water to stop the cooking process and cool down the pasta. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl. If serving immediately, add all remaining salad ingredients. Add Sesame Soy Dressing and mix well.
  2. Make Ahead Notes: If not serving right away, after transferring pasta to a large bowl, toss with a teaspoon or two of Pecan Oil to prevent it from sticking together. Stir in remaining ingredients, except for almonds, and place in a large Ziplok bag to refrigerate overnight. The dressing can be added an hour or two ahead, but stir the nuts in immediately before serving.
Sesame Soy Dressing
  1. Combine all dressing ingredients in a jar or bowl with a tight fitting lid. Shake well and refrigerate until ready to use. (Shake well again before using.)
Pecorino-Romano Cheese Crostini
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly brush both sides of French bread slices with olive oil and season lightly with Fajita Seasoning. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake until light brown and crusty, approximately 12 - 15 minutes. About halfway through cooking, turn over and dust the second side with Pecorino-Romano Cheese Blend before the final time in the oven.
