All Peach Creek Vineyards Wines are made solely from Texas fruit. Our wines are unique as we feature locally grown grapes as much as possible, but we do also purchase some grapes that won’t grow in the Texas Gulf Coast Region from the Texas High Plains; and the peaches are grown in Fredericksburg.
Red Wine Selections
It’s a Zin! $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — the primary flavors of Zinfandel are jam, blueberry, black pepper, cherry, plum, boysenberry, cranberry, and licorice. When you taste it, Zinfandel seems to explode with fruitiness followed by spiciness. Although a lighter bodied red wine, Zinfandel’s moderate tannins and high acidity actually give it a bold taste. Try pairing with lighter meats such as quail, turkey, pork, bacon, ham, and veal. It also pairs nicely with barbecued red meats, lamb, and dark chocolate.
Tailgater $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a full-bodied, dry wine, made from Texas Merlot grapes; it is fairly versatile when it comes to food pairing options, especially when considering meat. Poultry, beef, game, or pork, and served grilled, baked, broiled, or even braised; and it pairs well with meat dishes that use tomato sauce such as spaghetti and lasagna. It is also a nice accompaniment to strong, flavorful cheeses like Cheddar, Stilton, and Camembert, as well as heavier desserts such as Chocolate Almond Joy Bundt Cake.
The Patriot $24.95 / bottle $7.00 / glass –— this wine is made from Crimson Cabernet grapes, which are the newest addition to our vineyard. This is a dry red wine with rich berry and oak flavors that pairs well with anything ‘beef’, such as hamburgers, meatloaf, and steak! It also pairs well with everything from pasta with a red sauce to turkey and pork. As you may already know, Ken is an Army Veteran whose service included three tours in Viet Nam; a portion of all proceeds from this wine will be donated to a local Veterans charity.
Regal Red $18.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a full-body, dry wine, made from Texas Malbec grapes. A complex wine with lush flavors of plum, berries and spice, it pairs well with beef dishes, turkey, and hearty stews. A Gold Medal winner in the 2016 Lone Star International Wine Competition and a Silver Medal winner at the 2018 Houston Rodeo Wine Competition.
Trail Rider $18.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a dry red wine made from Chambourcin grapes with notes of black pepper, dark cherry, and plum; it is a medium-body wine with a fruity finish. A versatile wine, it pairs well with meaty grilled fish, roast chicken, and even beef or lamb dishes, as well as dark chocolate or cholate desserts, making it a great choice for date night!
Better Together $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a blend of Zinfandel & estate grown Lenoir grapes, this dry wine is smoother and more palatable than either grape alone. Named thusly because one thing we’ve learned during the 2020 Pandemic is how everyone is happier and functions better when we can gather together. The label is an actual photo that captured the moment that two of our mallard ducks (brothers) that had been separated for a few days were reunited. This unique red wine is easy to drink while just relaxing on the front porch, but it is also very food friendly.
Audacious $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass –– a medium bodied blend of Ruby Cabernet and Zinfandel grapes, but with much softer tannins than standard Cabernet wines. This memorable red is a dry wine with plum characteristics that pairs well with food, but is also great just by itself.
Tesoro Rojo $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass –an off-dry wine made from estate grown Lenoir grapes; it has earthy notes of apple, and a little wild cherry. Pair with duck, venison, and brisket, or raspberries and chocolate.
Valiente $9.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — an off-dry, full bodied table wine made from estate grapes. This wine has earthy aromas reminiscent of a freshly cut Gala Apple with a somewhat spicy finish. Pairs very nicely with all manners of steak, Mushroom Ravioli, and Beef Wellington with Mushroom Duxelles, as well as any tomato-based dishes such as spaghetti or chili.
Social Distancing $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass –– a semi-sweet wine made from estate grown Lenoir grapes; this wine was enjoyed by many of our friends during the Quarantine Period as it is such a great wine to share with friends!
Texas Two-Step $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass –– two of Texas’ favorite grapes, Lenoir and Blanc du Bois, are perfect partners as they dance together across your palate in this semi-sweet blend. The spicy, somewhat earthy notes of apple, banana, raspberry, and a little wild cherry-chocolate found in Lenoir grapes, pairs surprisingly well with the tropical fruit flavors and aromas of Blanc du Bois. Pairs well with an empty glass!
Brazos Blend $19.95 / bottle $7.00 / glass — a blend of two estate grown grapes, Lenoir & Lomanto, fermented with Brazos Blackberries (which are also grown here) makes this a unique and delicious experience that you do not want to miss! Because of the fruitiness in the grapes, both Brazos Blend and Rodeo Red pair nicely with a heavy and filling meal such as turkey and dressing or pulled pork sliders. Brazos Blend is also a nice accompaniment to tomato-based pasta dishes, fajitas, barbecue, or just by itself! This wine was awarded a Double Gold Medal in the 2018 Lone Star Intl. Wine Competition.
Rodeo Red $17.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a semi-sweet wine made from a blend of estate grown Lenoir & Lomanto grapes. The juice of the Lomanto grape is almost a purple-blue-red with notes of black cherry while Lenoir has earthy notes of apple, banana, raspberry, and a little wild cherry-chocolate. It’s been said that Lomanto is a perfect match for tomato-based pasta such as lasagna, as it is fruit forward with moderate tannins. Lenoir pairs with duck, venison, and brisket or raspberries and chocolate; and together there’s just no limit! Brazos Blend and Rodeo Red are amazing in that they are two distinctly different wines despite being blends made from the same two grapes.
Sassy Lassy $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass ––– a semi-sweet wine made from estate grown Noble grapes; this grape has a truly unique flavor that is similar to a Concord grape with just a little touch of sass! It is a refreshing, fruit-forward wine that leaves you longing for more. Pairs well with many foods and is especially nice with spicy foods. This wine was a Silver Medal winner at the 2019 Lone Star International Wine Competition.
Lady B (Bobcat) Red $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a sweet wine made from estate grown Lenoir grapes. The spicy flavors and fruitiness of the grapes is not overwhelmed by the sweetness of this wine. It has the distinctly pleasing smoothness that sweet wine drinkers love, of being sweet without being syrupy, and retaining the crisp sharpness of the fruit without being overly tart. Enjoy it with a light dinner, or after dinner with dessert (pairs nicely with Chocolate Chip Cookies). It was named after the Cy-Fair High School Mascot (Bobcat) and a group of delightful friends from high school, the Lady B’s. I think you’ll find this wine as wonderful as they are!
Fireside $16.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a sweet red blend; doesn’t need to be served with food, but it does go well with pretty much any mildly flavored meat dish or tomato-based pasta or casseroles, and cheddar or other yellow cheeses.
White & Rose’ Wines
Oasis $15.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a dry wine, it has luscious fruit aromas such as pineapple, pear, and tropical fruit. Made from locally grown Blanc du Bois grapes, it pairs nicely with seafood and pasta dishes with a creamy white sauce, Cajun rice dishes such as Sausage Jambalaya, and white cheeses.
White Heron $15.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a refreshing off-dry wine made from Riesling grapes with notes of apples, apricots, peaches, and pears. It has just enough residual sweetness from the grapes to offer a pleasant white wine with an amazingly clean finish. Made in a drier style, it pairs well with a broad range of foods. It works well with fish, salad, and anything citrusy, but shines with spicy foods. A refreshing wine best served well chilled.
Tropical Bliss $15.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a unique, off-dry Blanc du Bois wine with luscious tropical fruit flavors that is both delightful and fun! It has strong citrus notes similar to some of the Sauvignon Blanc wines. This is probably the most food-friendly wine we’ve found as it goes as well with fried artichoke cakes with a spicy sauce as it does with venison stroganoff with a creamy mushroom sauce, so the pairing opportunities are endless; but this refreshing wine is also enjoyable all by itself! Close your eyes and let the tropical fruit and citrus flavors whisk you away to a Caribbean Island.
A Little Zinful $15.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a wonderful White Zinfandel that is as fun as it is tasty! It is not quite a semi-sweet wine made from the free run juice of the (red) Zinfandel grape. Toast our versatile White Zin with a wide range of foods from holiday turkey to chicken salad and even peach cobbler.
Aloha $15.95 / bottle $6.00 / glass — a semi-sweet wine, Aloha is a sweeter version of Oasis with the same fabulous tropical fruit aromas. Food is not required as you will enjoy multiple layers of flavor that carry through to the wine from the grapes. Amore’ won Reserve Champion in three classes (winning three belt buckles) at the 2017 Houston Rodeo Wine competition.
Just Peachy $18.95 / bottle $7.00 / glass –a semi-sweet wine made solely from Fredericksburg Peaches. With no artificial flavorings or concentrates added, it has that fresh fruit slightly tartness, and tastes just like you are biting into one of those wonderful fresh peaches.
Orale’ $12.95 / 375 ml bottle Not for Onsite Consumption due to High Alcohol Content — made from estate grown Lenoir grapes, the higher alcohol is a direct result of the fermentation process as this wine contains no brandy and is not fortified (as many port-style wines are). Orale! is a common Spanish interjection used in all regions of Mexico as an exclamation expressing approval or encouragement. Great drink to sip on at the end of the day, or a nice finish to a wonderful meal.
High Five $12.95 / 375 ml bottle Not for Onsite Consumption due to High Alcohol Content — this wine is made from five estate grown grape varieties, Noble grapes being the predominant one. if you enjoy the fruit-forward, delicious grape flavor of Sassy Lassy, you need to try this one.
